Meet Expand Board
Expand Board is a native macOS workspace for arranging information on an open canvas. Users place text, images, files, and shapes where they make sense, then create nested boards that can be opened as separate spaces. Breadcrumb navigation makes it possible to move into a topic and return to the surrounding board.
The app supports rich text, lines between elements, Kanban-style organization, and full-text search. PDFs and other files can sit beside notes and visual references instead of being separated into a folder hierarchy. Boards are saved as document packages on the Mac, with optional storage in iCloud Drive. It is suited to planning, collecting references, and organizing projects spatially.
