Meet Factorio

Factorio is a factory-building game about extracting resources and turning them into automated production. Players mine materials, research technology, construct infrastructure, and connect machines into production lines. As the factory expands, shortages and transport problems require changes to the layout, while enemies create a need to defend it.

Multiplayer lets friends build together, and custom maps or Lua mods change the game beyond the standard setup. An official mod portal provides community additions. A player can trace a missing component through several production stages, revise the machinery supplying it, and then continue expanding the system with newly researched equipment.
