Meet Files SDK

Files SDK is a developer library that provides a consistent interface for file storage across providers such as S3, Cloudflare R2, Google Cloud Storage, Azure, and local filesystems. Applications use common operations for uploading, downloading, listing, and managing files, while provider adapters handle the underlying service. Native clients remain available for provider-specific needs.

Plugins add features such as encryption, validation, compression, caching, versioning, and audit records. The project also includes a command-line interface, MCP support, and frontend integrations for React, Vue, and Svelte. Capability checks expose differences between backends, and unsupported options fail explicitly. Developers can share storage logic across environments while selecting the adapters and plugins their application requires.
