Meet FinderLock

FinderLock is a macOS application for protecting files and folders in encrypted containers. Users can start from Finder, choose an item to protect, and authenticate with Touch ID or a password. A menu bar dashboard keeps protected items accessible for later locking and unlocking.

Automatic locking can follow a timer or system events such as sleep, reducing the need to remember each manual step. Optional iCloud and Google Drive backup support storing encrypted containers outside the Mac. Bulk controls handle several items together, making the application useful for organizing access to a collection of confidential documents or project files.
