Meet FlareGun

FlareGun helps groups find one another at concerts, festivals, beaches, and other busy places. Members join a shared session and broadcast their GPS locations, which appear on a live map. The iPhone app also provides a camera view that places names and distances over the surrounding scene to help users orient themselves.

A group can choose a common meeting point and coordinate through an integrated chat. Invitation links let people share their location from a browser when they do not have the app installed. These tools support informal meetups and organized outings where a group needs to stay connected while moving through a large area.
