Meet Fly.io

Fly.io runs applications and agent workloads on cloud virtual machines. Fly Machines provide hardware-isolated compute with networking, routing, and scaling controls. Developers place resources near the people or services using the application and deploy their workloads to those machines.

Sprites supply persistent Linux environments for agent work. An environment can sleep between tasks and resume with files, dependencies, and service state, while checkpoints provide a state to return to after a change. Managed Postgres adds database infrastructure beside the compute. Applications can therefore use separate machine and database resources while development agents work in their persistent environments.
