Meet FocusWriter

FocusWriter is a word processor with menus that stay hidden until the pointer reaches the screen's edge. The document remains central, and themes adjust fonts, colors, and background images. Daily goals and updating statistics provide a record of the writing session. Spell-checking and multiple open documents cover ordinary editing work. Reopening the application restores work in progress and the previous position. The open-source program is available for Windows and Linux, with a portable Windows download. Writers can configure the view and move between documents while retaining the same writing environment.
