Meet FoodHero

FoodHero connects shoppers with surplus food from participating grocery stores in Canada. Users find nearby stores in the app, inspect the available products, and place an order for collection. Inventory changes as retailers add items, so the selection reflects what is available locally. The order includes the product and pickup information needed to collect it at the chosen store. Grocers use the same service to offer surplus stock that might otherwise remain unsold. Shoppers can review the local inventory before choosing which store and products fit their next grocery trip.
