Gardenize keeps a photographic journal of a garden's plants, areas, and activities. Each plant can have a name, photos, and notes, linked to the bed or area where it grows. Dated events connect the work done in the garden with the plants and locations involved.

Reminders organize tasks such as watering, fertilizing, pruning, or repotting. The calendar and plant history let a gardener check when something was planted or compare photographs across seasons. An inspiration feed provides gardening material to save or add to plant records. The resulting personal library keeps the garden's locations, observations, and work history available for the next visit or season.
