Gmailytics helps people understand and clear a crowded Gmail inbox by grouping messages by sender. It shows how many emails each sender contributes, their approximate storage use, and how much remains unread. Users can then select senders and move their messages to Trash or archive them in batches.

Newsletter controls support unsubscribing where the sender provides the necessary mechanism. Browser extensions keep the dashboard closer to hand and can update its view in the background. Gmailytics says it analyzes message metadata rather than subjects or message contents. Its cleanup covers the inbox, while archived messages remain outside the scan and trashed messages follow Gmail's recovery rules.
