Meet Hanko

Hanko is an open-source authentication and user management platform for web applications. It supports passwords, email passcodes, passkeys, social login, single sign-on, and multi-factor authentication, allowing teams to combine methods around their own onboarding requirements. Developers can use its ready-made web components or build a custom interface with the Flow API.

The account profile component gives users controls for passwords, authentication factors, passkeys, and sessions. Hanko can run as a managed cloud service, in a private cloud environment, or on the team's own infrastructure. Framework guides and starter projects help developers connect authentication to an existing application or begin a new one.
