Meet HonorBox

HonorBox is an open-source storefront engine for selling digital products delivered through private GitHub repositories. Sellers fork the engine, edit a configuration file, and publish the resulting store on GitHub Pages. Each product connects to a Stripe Payment Link, and a scheduled GitHub Action checks payments and invites buyers to the relevant repository.

The setup uses the seller's own Stripe and GitHub accounts, and buyers need GitHub accounts to receive access. An optional Pro toolkit checks paid orders against actual repository permissions, reports missed deliveries, and monitors configuration problems. It also includes refund and dispute access controls, sales statistics, additional presentation options, and offline license keys.
