Idealist

Meet Idealist

Idealist helps people find social-impact jobs, internships, volunteer opportunities, and events. Search by location, experience level, or issue area to connect your skills and interests with a role. Organizations can create a presence and publish opportunities for people looking to get involved.

Career resources provide guidance for entering or developing a career in the nonprofit sector. Volunteer and event listings offer shorter or unpaid ways to participate, while Idealist Days encourages local actions on recurring dates. Organizations use their listings to reach people interested in a role or cause, while individuals compare ways to contribute at a time and location that fit their plans.
