Create film assets and assemble them in a Mac workspace
Edit video with an open-source timeline, effects, and audio tools.

Kdenlive is an open-source desktop video editor with a nonlinear timeline for assembling footage, sound and titles. Organize source clips in bins, add tags and filters, and create proxy files when you want lighter media for editing. Multicam tools, nested sequences and markers help structure projects with several cameras or sections.
You can record a voiceover, mix audio and animate effects with keyframes. Color scopes provide a way to inspect the image while adjusting it, and subtitle tools include transcription and styling. Glaxnimate integration adds a route to motion graphics. The workspace is configurable, so panels and tools can follow the stage of the edit.
