Contributions are funded in advance, with reminders when renewal is needed. Team features distribute donations for a shared project, while external account or repository links provide context about the work. Multiple currencies support different donors and recipients. An open-source project or other creator can use the same profile for ongoing contributions as maintenance and new work continue over time.
