Meet Liquid Network

Liquid Network is an open-source Bitcoin sidechain for confidential transfers and issuing digital assets. It supports Liquid Bitcoin (LBTC), stablecoins, and tokenized securities, with transaction amounts and asset types hidden by default. The network uses a federation of operators to sign blocks and secure bitcoin backing LBTC, giving it a different trust model from Bitcoin's main chain.

Developers can build wallets, payment services, exchanges, and asset platforms using the Elements software, Liquid Wallet Kit, and blockchain APIs. Users access the network through compatible wallets and services, including tools for swapping between Liquid, Bitcoin, and Lightning. Businesses can issue and manage assets while selectively sharing transaction details for auditing.
