Meet Maccy
Maccy keeps clipboard history available on a Mac after newer copies replace the system clipboard. You open the history from the keyboard, type to search earlier items, and select a result with Enter. That provides access to a previous copy while continuing to work in another application. The history is stored locally, and Maccy respects supported clipboard-clearing behavior from password managers. Its native macOS interface focuses on retrieving copied material. The application is open source under the MIT license, with source code available for inspection or modification and distribution through a direct download or the Mac App Store.
