Meet Mainichi

Mainichi is a Japanese vocabulary app built around a journey through Japan's 47 prefectures. Learners work through short sessions with cards showing kanji, kana, romaji, English meanings, and audio pronunciation. New regions introduce vocabulary sets, while a personal dictionary keeps previously encountered words available for reference.

The app adds progress tracking, daily streaks, and quiz battles to give practice a sense of progression. Collectible charms and other small game elements sit alongside the vocabulary work. It is aimed at people who prefer frequent, manageable study sessions rather than lengthy lessons. The official site currently offers an iOS download and lists its Google Play release as coming soon.
