Meet Manuscripts

Manuscripts is a Mac application for tracking papers through the academic publication process. It organizes drafting, journal submission, peer review, and revision as stages that may repeat. Researchers can keep a roster of collaborators, including affiliations and ORCID details, and reuse that information across projects.

Each revision can be linked to the submission that prompted it, with dated notes and a history of changes. Review rounds retain their own decision and response letters, and saved responses can be exported into a letter for resubmission. The application keeps its data locally and includes backups, offering an alternative to maintaining a publication spreadsheet.
