Meet Opus Magnum

Opus Magnum asks you to build machines that carry out alchemical processes. Arrange components to move and combine materials, then run the sequence and inspect what the machine does. A puzzle can accept several designs, leaving room to change both the layout and the timing of the solution.

Once it works, refine the machine for speed, fewer components, or a smaller footprint. Animated GIF exports let you show the sequence to other players. A puzzle editor and Steam Workshop support challenges made by the community. The campaign follows the intrigues surrounding powerful alchemists, with Sigmar's Garden offering an alchemy-themed solitaire break between machine-building sessions.
