Store encrypted files with rules for delivering them to chosen people
Keep important documents in a browser-encrypted long-term vault

Vault by Permanent Storage provides long-term document storage with file contents encrypted in the browser before upload. Access is based on a recovery phrase rather than an email account or password reset, so users need to keep that phrase safe. Filenames, tags, and notes remain unencrypted to support search.
The service uses a one-time purchase model with a published five-year operating guarantee and an export commitment. Plans can include additional access keys for people who need the same vault, with keys labeled and revoked individually. A separate disposable trial lets users explore the workflow, but trial files do not transfer into a purchased vault. It is intended for personal paperwork and professional records.
