Quakpit

Meet Quakpit

Quakpit is a macOS meeting reminder that sends an animated character in a plane across the screen before an event. The banner appears above other applications, including full-screen windows, and can include a custom message and sound. Calendar information comes from an iCal or ICS link or a read-only Apple iCloud connection.

Users choose a five- or ten-minute reminder and customize the character, plane, and banner. Optional Pro features add more visual choices and multiple calendar sources. The open-source app supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs and reads calendar data locally. Its current release is not Apple-signed; Windows and direct Google or Outlook connections are described as forthcoming.
