Be My Eyes
Visual assistance for blind and low-vision users
Audio descriptions of text, objects, and surroundings

Seeing AI is a free visual-assistance app developed with the blind and low-vision community. It turns information from the device's camera into spoken descriptions, providing audio for tasks such as reading text, describing a photograph, or identifying a product. A user can point the camera at the material they want to understand and listen to the result. That makes a printed note or everyday item accessible through another form of information. Microsoft develops the app as an ongoing research project, drawing on community feedback as the tools change.
