Compare running interfaces from separate Git branches side by side

sidebranch is a local visual comparison tool for reviewing interface changes across Git branches. It creates isolated worktrees and starts separate development servers, allowing reviewers to switch branches without disturbing their current checkout. A browser control brings two running versions together, with side-by-side, blended, and onion comparison modes for spotting changes.
Developers configure how their application installs dependencies and starts its server, then connect through a Chrome or Edge extension or a development-only widget. The tool works with different web frameworks as long as the app responds over HTTP. Command-line utilities check configuration, stop comparison servers, and clean up the temporary worktrees after a review.
