Smuggl

Meet Smuggl

Smuggl connects people who want products from abroad with friends or extended contacts who are already traveling. A shopper can browse supported retailers, request an item, and coordinate a local handoff with the traveler carrying it. Travelers can list trips and consider requests that fit their route and baggage capacity.

The workflow includes payment handling and confirmation at the handoff, with availability depending on the route, retailer, and destination. Customs rules and personal allowances still apply to goods bought at duty-free stores. Smuggl is in public beta through its web app and an iPhone TestFlight invitation, while broader city availability is being rolled out separately.
