Meet Stellar

Stellar is an open-source blockchain for moving money and issuing digital assets. Businesses can use the network for cross-border payments, remittances, stablecoins, and tokenized assets, while developers can build wallets and financial applications that connect these services. Its network of providers, known as anchors, links blockchain transactions with traditional payment systems, including bank deposits and cash services.

Stellar also supports smart contracts through Soroban, with contracts written in Rust and deployed as WebAssembly. Developers can work with SDKs, APIs, testing tools, and documentation to issue tokens, integrate payments, or add programmable features to an application. The ecosystem includes directories of projects and anchor services to help teams identify existing infrastructure and potential integrations.
