Meet SUB/WAVE
SUB/WAVE is open-source software for running an internet radio station from a personal music library. An AI DJ selects tracks and speaks between songs, while everyone listening shares the same broadcast. Listeners can request songs or describe a mood, then follow the queue and the DJ's commentary in the player.
Station operators configure DJ personas, weekly shows, voices, and optional segments such as weather or music information. The administration console includes library search, playlist generation, playback controls, and diagnostics. Language models and speech engines can run locally or through supported cloud services. Web, mobile, desktop, and standard radio-stream connections provide different ways to listen to the station.
