Meet Sunrise

Sunrise is a planning workspace for people using Gmail or Google Workspace. It brings tasks, projects, and calendar events into Today and Upcoming views, helping users see commitments alongside the work they want to complete. Sign-in uses a Google account, and tasks synchronize in both directions with a dedicated Sunrise list in Google Tasks.

Work can be organized into folders and projects, with list, kanban, and calendar layouts for different planning needs. Calendar overlays provide context for scheduling without replacing the user's existing Google tools. Sunrise is currently in public beta with free access. Additional Team and Workspace plans, including expanded collaboration and administrative features, are described as coming later.
