Meet Takes

Takes is a Mac application for planning, recording, and preparing talking-head videos. A project moves through storyboard, recording, and posting views. Users can follow a script near the camera, record multiple takes, and mark a preferred version before asking a connected agent to edit the footage or draft accompanying posts.

The built-in Claude Code conversation works with the same local folders as the application, and MCP access supports other compatible agents. Frame-specific feedback can guide a new version and inform later edits. Camera and screen recordings, scripts, and posts remain accessible as files. The app is free, but requires an Apple silicon Mac, macOS 15 or later, and a separately configured agent account or plan.
