Meet Telegram
Telegram combines personal messaging, group discussions, broadcast channels, and voice or video calls. Cloud chats synchronize across mobile, desktop, and web applications. File sharing, replies, mentions, pinned messages, and administrator controls help organize conversations, while developer APIs support bots and integrations.
Chat privacy depends on the mode. Ordinary cloud chats use encryption between the application and Telegram's servers; they do not use end-to-end encryption. Secret Chats add end-to-end encryption and self-destruct timers, but remain tied to the devices where they began. Users can choose a conversation type with that distinction in mind when using Telegram for private messages or community discussion.
