Teleport controls access to technical infrastructure through identities and temporary privileges. People, machines, and AI agents use cryptographic identities, with policy determining which resources they can reach and for how long. Access requests and audit records connect those infrastructure sessions with the identity making the request.

Teams can integrate their identity service and apply the workflow to production systems. Agent and MCP access use the same broader controls, extending policy to automated tools operating in the environment. Administrators can review a request, grant a limited period of access, and retain activity records for later investigation or audit work.
