Meet Terafab

Terafab is a semiconductor manufacturing project being developed to expand the supply of chips for artificial intelligence. Its planned factory combines logic chips, memory, and advanced packaging in one facility, with designs intended for autonomous vehicles, humanoid robots, and computing systems in space. Bringing these stages together is intended to support a larger, more integrated chip production pipeline.

The project’s roadmap includes chips for Tesla’s FSD and Optimus programs alongside hardware for orbital AI computing. Its website outlines the proposed manufacturing scale, chip families, and the energy and infrastructure behind those goals. Terafab remains in development, so its published production scale and orbital computing goals describe future plans.
