TerraCycle

Meet TerraCycle

TerraCycle organizes collection programs for materials not routinely handled by local recycling. Households, schools, shops, and organizations can choose a program for the products or packaging they collect. Each program specifies the materials accepted and the return or collection arrangement.

Zero Waste Boxes and bulk services provide additional collection options, including mailback and pickup processes for businesses. TerraCycle also develops supply chains for recycled materials and reusable packaging arrangements. Programs differ by country and material, so participants select the relevant scheme before collecting items. Schools and other groups can organize a shared collection rather than rely on individual returns.
