Meet Thala

Thala is a decentralized finance platform on Aptos that brings trading, borrowing, and liquid staking into one web application. Users connect a compatible wallet to swap tokens, supply liquidity, or borrow against supported collateral. ThalaSwap supports several pool designs, including stable and weighted pools, and liquidity bootstrapping pools for token launches.

The protocol also offers Move Dollar (MOD), an overcollateralized stablecoin minted against supported assets. Its APT liquid staking system uses thAPT and sthAPT to represent deposited tokens and staking rewards, allowing those positions to interact with compatible DeFi products. This gives Aptos users several ways to manage assets across connected markets, with availability and collateral rules varying by product and region.
