Meet Totem

Totem is a Chrome extension that turns saved Twitter and X posts into a reading queue on the new-tab page. It uses the existing X session to retrieve bookmarks, then keeps reading state, highlights, and notes in the browser. A focused reader presents posts and threads without returning to the main social feed.

The queue tracks unread, in-progress, and completed items, including where the reader stopped inside a thread. Cached posts remain available offline after synchronization. Users can export their library as a ZIP containing Markdown, CSV, JSONL, annotations, and progress information, or import an archive later to restore the collection.
