Meet VeloFiler

VeloFiler is a Mac file manager designed around keyboard navigation and two side-by-side panes. Vim-style keys let you select, preview, copy, move, and organize files without repeatedly reaching for the mouse. The same workflow extends to remote locations over SSH and SFTP, including editing and transferring files.

Built-in previews cover images, media, documents, code, and Markdown, while an editor provides search, replacement, and syntax highlighting. Bookmarks and fuzzy history help revisit folders, and cloud-service sync folders can open directly in a pane. Background transfers show progress and can be cancelled. The app also includes Markdown notes and optional system metrics for local and remote machines.
