See coding-agent status and usage limits on a small desk display

Vibe Buddy is a small desktop device designed to show the status of Codex and Claude Code while a person works. A local companion supplies information about active tasks, usage percentages, reset times, and requests for an answer or approval. The device changes its displayed expression to make those states visible without opening another application window.
The hardware includes a built-in battery and USB-C power, allowing it to sit beside a keyboard or move around a desk. The official site presents photographs and video of a working prototype and offers reservations through a refundable deposit. It remains a preorder product, so final availability and shipping should be checked before purchase. Its usefulness depends on the supported accounts and companion integration.
