Waterfox

Meet Waterfox

Waterfox is an open-source browser with privacy controls and a configurable interface. Its desktop ad blocker includes filter lists and exceptions for individual sites. Private tabs can sit beside ordinary tabs while keeping a separate browsing container, whose site data is cleared when the last private tab closes.

You can choose horizontal or vertical tabs and use tree tabs to group pages beneath the page that opened them. That structure helps keep a branch of research together when moving or collapsing tabs. Color palettes and other interface options change the browser's appearance, while encrypted DNS through a relay provides an additional network privacy feature.
