Meet Windscribe

Windscribe provides VPN applications and browser extensions with configurable connection and filtering tools. Users choose a connection location and protocol, including WireGuard, OpenVPN, or IKEv2. Split tunneling selects which traffic follows the VPN route, while network filtering can block advertising, trackers, or listed malicious domains.

Browser extensions add controls around signals such as the user agent and reported location. These settings are separate from the VPN application's routing, so available controls vary by device and browser. Users can configure the app's connection, choose the filtering behavior, and adjust the extension alongside it. Open-source applications and published transparency material provide information for examining the service.
