WizTree

Meet WizTree

WizTree analyzes storage and displays which files and folders occupy the most space. A treemap represents sizes visually, giving users another route to a large file beyond browsing directories. The application is available for Windows and macOS.

On Windows NTFS drives, scanning reads the Master File Table directly. Other supported drives use the relevant scanning approach, and hard-linked files are accounted for without simply adding every link as another full copy. Personal use and commercial licensing have different arrangements. Someone investigating a full drive can examine the largest areas, inspect the underlying files, and decide what to keep or remove.
