Zella

Meet Zella

Zella combines screen and camera recording with video editing on Mac and iPhone. Its automated editing tools remove silence and filler words, generate captions, clean up voice audio, and add zooms or background music. These core operations run on the device, allowing users to edit recordings without uploading the footage.

A timeline provides manual control over clips, transitions, effects, and color adjustments. Creators can reframe a video for different aspect ratios and export it using platform presets. The free version includes the editor with export limits, while a paid upgrade removes those limits. Zella suits people making tutorials, demonstrations, talking-head clips, or other short videos.
