Explore a programming language built around checked graph edits

Meet Zerolang

Zerolang is an experimental programming language designed for development with AI agents. Its compiler-owned program graph serves as the underlying representation, letting agents query symbols, calls, types, and other relationships before proposing changes. Graph patches include checks for expected values and state, helping reject invalid or outdated edits.

Human-readable source projections remain available for inspection and occasional manual editing. The intended workflow starts with a person describing an outcome, followed by an agent preparing changes that the compiler checks and the person reviews. Documentation explains initialization, graph queries, patching, and execution. The project explicitly expects breaking changes and recommends isolated experimentation rather than use against production systems while the language is developing.
