Meet Zilliqa

Zilliqa is a public blockchain for building and running decentralized applications. Its EVM execution layer works with familiar Ethereum development tools, while native SDKs and the Neo Savant IDE support applications and smart contracts written for Zilliqa. Developers can use published network endpoints, inspect contract state, and connect applications to the network. ZIL is the network's native token.

The project is also developing infrastructure for institutional onchain finance. Its planned Mediation Layer is designed to check the identity credentials and policy requirements of transaction participants before settlement. This work is described as an addition to the public chain; the official FAQ states that the Mediation Layer and associated credential and settlement initiatives are not yet live.
