Arrange a split keyboard and program its keys, layers and macros
Customizable ergonomic keyboards for daily typing

ZSA makes split keyboards that let users place the two halves independently and program their own key layouts. Voyager offers a compact, low-profile design with replaceable switches, while Moonlander and ErgoDox EZ use different arrangements and thumb controls. Keys and layers can be assigned around the applications a person uses.
Oryx is a browser editor for configuring layouts saved on the keyboard. The optional Keymapp app shows the active layout and local key-usage information to help with revisions. Typing exercises support learning a custom arrangement, and Smart Layers can activate a layer when the application changes, such as switching between design software and a game.
