Meet Adobe Fresco

Adobe Fresco draws and paints on iPad and iPhone using raster, vector, and live brushes. Raster brushes create textured marks, vector strokes scale for later editing, and live brushes simulate paint mixing on the canvas. Artists can combine these approaches in an illustration.

Symmetry mirrors strokes, enclosed-area painting controls color placement, and vector trimming removes unwanted parts of intersecting lines. Frame-by-frame animation, motion paths, and presets add movement to drawings. Work begun on the touch device can continue in Photoshop or Illustrator on desktop, with changes synchronized through the connected workflow.
