Build a personal AI assistant with memory and connected workflows
A desktop workspace for AI chats and coding agents

Alma is a desktop AI workspace that combines conversations with multiple model providers and a graphical interface for coding agents running through herdr. Users can read Claude Code, Codex, and pi sessions as chats, see which agents need attention, answer questions, and return to the underlying terminal when needed. It also supports ordinary AI conversations with providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and compatible API services.
Threads are stored locally, and editable memory carries useful context between conversations. Skills and MCP connections extend the available tools, while artifacts display documents, charts, and small applications inside a thread. Desktop downloads are available for macOS, Windows, and Linux; the separately offered iPhone companion is in public beta.
