Build and operate web and mobile apps with managed backend services from Google.
Application backends with authentication, data, and hosting

Appwrite provides backend services for web and mobile applications. Authentication, databases, file storage, functions, messaging, and realtime events connect to a frontend through APIs and SDKs. Developers choose modular services around the data and account flows their app needs.
Hosting deploys frontends from Git, with preview environments, while network tools apply traffic rules and other controls. Storage includes image transformations and access settings. Functions supply custom server logic, and messaging handles email, SMS, and push notifications. MCP tooling gives compatible coding agents access to the same project resources. The deployment and configuration determine which services and connections the application uses.
