AuraSpeak is a browser-based conversation app for people communicating across English and Japanese. A user starts a conversation and shares a QR invitation with someone else, who can join without installing a separate app. Messages can be written in either language, with translation built into the conversation flow before sending.

The service is designed for introductions and everyday conversations with people abroad, including situations where language would otherwise make it difficult to begin talking. Its homepage offers both starting and joining a conversation, with an English or Japanese interface. Users can also add AuraSpeak to their home screen for quicker access on a phone.
