Ayer brings together photos and videos taken on the same date across different years. Users can open the app to revisit today’s memories or choose another day from a calendar. A grid and swipeable views make it easier to browse those moments without manually searching through a large photo library.

The app can create comparisons between past and present photos, adding dates automatically before sharing. Photos are organized locally on the device, and the main experience works offline without an account. Ayer is useful for revisiting family milestones, preparing a throwback post, or simply rediscovering pictures that have become buried in the camera roll.
