Pennen

Meet Pennen

Pennen is a daily handwriting journal for iPad, designed around one dated page and Apple Pencil input. Users write on ruled pages and revisit earlier entries by date. Past pages become read-only, preserving a record of what was written without requiring a feed, streak, or elaborate notebook structure.

Entries are saved on the iPad and synchronized through the user's own iCloud account when a connection is available. The app offers a passcode lock and does not convert handwriting into searchable text, so browsing remains organized by date. It supports offline writing and requires iPadOS 26 or later, with subscription and lifetime purchase options available.
